updated wild turkey study--> painting

This evening upon my arrival home I found the Rio Grande drawing in an updated state as a painting. This is one of the many fortunes of being married to an Artist. Paintings are inspiration and interpretations that slowly evolve over a period of time. It's fascinating for me to observe, as well as, participate in this process.

I blogged about this piece of artwork after D's initial inspiration and production of the graphite study back in mid-January. I have not seen it since. There is something intriguing about not seeing a painting for a while and then spotting it as it unfolds.
